 Function Summary  

Responsible to oversee the daily operations of preschool. To plan, direct, or coordinate the academic and non-academic activities of preschool and childcare centres or programs. She/he also confer with parents and staff to discuss educational activities and policies and students’ behavioural or learning problems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily operations, ensuring they align with the educational framework, audit standards, and policies.
  2. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that supports student development.
  3. Ensure effective communication with parents to foster engagement, address concerns, and build strong relationships between school and family.
  4. Organize and conduct regular parent meetings, including Parent-Teacher Meetings and any informational sessions.
  5. Run the entire school admission process, including managing inquiries, conducting school tours when necessary, arranging trial classes, and onboarding new students.
  6. Build strong relationships with prospective and current parents, maintaining excellent customer service standards to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  7. Co-develop the school’s marketing plan with the HQ marketing team, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and local market needs.
  8. Oversee content creation for school-specific marketing materials, following HQ Marketing guidelines to maintain brand consistency and quality standards.
  9. Manage, monitor and control expenses to remain within budget, making recommendations for cost-saving measures as needed.
  10. Collect payments, issue receipts to parents, and ensure transparent tracking of financial transactions.
  11. Actively participate in the hiring process, including shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and recommending appointments in collaboration with HR.
  12. Oversee staff performance, providing regular evaluations, constructive feedback, and opportunities for growth.
  13. Work closely with HQ Training department to organize workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs for staff, conduct regular training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
  14. Assist Head of Operations (HOO) to implement strategic plans that align with HQ’s objectives, focusing on academic excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable school growth.

Requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years in early childhood education with 2 years as Principal or management role
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Especially the ability to communicate with customers (parents).
    • Performance Management – ability to assess and manage teachers’ performance.
    • Knowledge in child development and preschool educational methods

Function Summary  

Responsible for the early education of children in their care including developing and delivering interactive learning programs designed to engage and educate young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure children’s safety in class or in the Preschool’s compound.
  2. To prepare lessons plan and teaching materials in advance, i.e. flash cards, Charts and Concrete Materials for each topic / lesson.
  3. To ensure children’s discipline in the classroom during lesson time.
  4. Attend to children’s basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers.
  5. To carry out daily duty assigned by Principal.
  6. To maintain good relationship with parents and colleague.
  7. Involved in every activity in child development program.
  8. Plan activities and prepare the learning equipment daily according to student’s goal;
  9. Record daily activities and student response in the system.
  10. Work with therapist or teacher.
  11. Conduct Parent Teacher Meeting.
  12. Carry out the IEP together with team and parents.
  13. Maintain tidiness of the classroom after use daily.
  14. Maintain good relationship with kids / parents / healthcare service provider / public.

Function Summary

Responsible for teaching group of students with mild and moderate disabilities including developing and delivering interactive learning programs tailored to their special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess students’ current level of academic, expertise performance and their special needs.
  2. To prepare lessons plan and teaching materials in advance, i.e. flash cards, Charts and Concrete Materials for each topic / lesson.
  3. Develop Early Intervention Program (EIP) for students.
  4. Implement EIP through special education teaching strategies and techniques to enable students meets their goal.
  5. Plan and conduct activities in a small group setting.
  6. Attend to children’s basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and
    changing their diapers.
  7. Promoting social, communication and play expertise of students through
    group activities.
  8. Manage student behavior through monitoring, supervising and assessing
    behavioral patterns.
  9. Prepare and maintain accurate and complete record and prepare report
    of EIP, students’ activities and progress.
  10. Communicate and present progress report to parents.
  11. Maintain good relationship with kids / parents / healthcare service provider/ public.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology or Early Childhood or equivalent.
  • Between 1 to 3 years working experience with special needs children.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in both English (strong) and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Knowledge in child development and special needs educational methods

  3. To ensure children’s discipline in the classroom during lesson time.
  4. Attend to children’s basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers
  5. To carry out daily duty assigned by Principal.
  6. To maintain good relationship with parents and colleague.
  7. Involved in every activity in child development program.
  8. Record daily activities and student response in the logbook if any.
  9. Work with therapist or teacher.
  10. Maintain tidiness of the classroom after use daily.

Requirements:

  • SPM or Diploma or have attended Kursus Asuhan Permata (KAP) program.
