To sustain our amazing team who builds effective learning and contributes to our growth, we’re seeking to add a Special Educational Needs Teacher to join our team at Eco Botanic, Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assess students’ current level of academic, expertise performance and their special needs.
• To prepare lessons plan and teaching materials in advance, i.e. flash cards, Charts and Concrete Materials for each topic / lesson.
• Develop Early Intervention Program (EIP) for students.
• Implement EIP through special education teaching strategies and
techniques to enable students meets their goal.
• Plan and conduct activities in a small group setting.
• Attend to children’s basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and
changing their diapers.
• Promoting social, communication and play expertise of students through
group activities.
• Manage student behavior through monitoring, supervising and assessing
behavioral patterns.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and complete record and prepare report
of EIP, students’ activities and progress.
• Communicate and present progress report to parents.
• Maintain good relationship with kids / parents / healthcare service provider
/ public.
• Actively involved in company Projects;
• Be a Joyous ambassador;
• Participate in any company events including seminar, workshop and
monthly meeting.
• Any other duties assigned by the management
Requirements:
• Typically requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology or Early Childhood or equivalent.
• Between 1 to 3 years working experience with special needs children.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English (strong) and
Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge in child development and special needs educational methods
